It’s all about playful tricks of the eye when it comes to our Christmas chocolates. Ornate spoons can be stirred into hot milk or eaten straight from the stick. Santa and Rudolph might be pleasantly surprised by their treat box this year – a milk carton, cookies and carrots all made from chocolate – while Heston’s white candles can be your dinner party table centrepiece… and dessert.

‘With all of us spending more time at home, it’s good to bring in bright, uplifting colours and scents. Flowers are a great way to do this and they can instantly evoke memories of Christmasses past.
‘This classic bouquet is hand-tied and has a relaxed feel, with a rich fragrance from the jewel-red roses, lush green foliage and festive pine cones. It would make a fantastic gift or a beautiful table decoration for Christmas Day.’
…is not gold, but it certainly puts you in a festive mood. Sparkly wreaths and stylish metallic decorations take centre stage at Waitrose this Christmas, along with pine cones and cute animal and veg-themed baubles to add the finishing touches to the tree. Our Christmas gift wrap doesn’t just look good – we’re proud to say it’s eco-friendly, too. It’s produced by an innovative British company from sustainable FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified paper, and printed using water-based inks, with no plastic glitter, so it’s fully recyclable. We’re also trialling two types of shrink-wrap-free packaging for our gift wrap, to further reduce our plastic use.
The beauty aisles at Waitrose are full of blissful treats to suit every age and budget this Christmas.
